The aim was to increase the number of Urgent Care Bays from 7 to 10 which involved the complete phased remodel of the existing area expanding into the old Fracture Clinic.

The Centre works very closely with the food retail industry, developing low-carbon technologies and processes. The project was to create New laboratory space for the investigation into low-carbon food processing tech. This included a full Electrical fit out including specialist machinery, lab equipment and infrastructure upgrade to power the new test equipment.

On the success of the Lab Extension project we were added onto the framework and have continued to partner CSEF on future projects. This was the installation of the Control Panel, Wiring and interconnection of the Dry Cooler Plant. Including bespoke Panel and containment install.

We partnered up with the CSEF team again and assisted with the design of the Infrastructure and control wiring for the Co2 PGU. Working alongside Enogia the supplier of the turbine which uses Co2 to generate power and feed back into the grid. The project really captured the ethos of the CSEF team and developed our understanding of energy regeneration.

We took on the Labour and Management of this project forming a strong relationship with the Harvey Group, but also the Client and Architect too. The project consisted of 8 Floors of Commercial space, Kitchen facilities, Infrastructure and a residential dwelling. As you can see from the pictures the end product is amazing and was a pleasure to be involved in. At its peak we had 30 Electricians and 2 Supervisors and a Project manager.

Another project secured on a Sub-Contract basis with Harvey Group, We took on the full package of supplying Labour, Materials and Supervision. The project design was based on an industrial look and in turn all of the containment and wiring systems are on show. It was across 6 floors built up of back of house areas and 3 duplex performance areas, with state of the art Theatre and lighting production equipment.

Commercial lighting & Power upgrade project, to bring Beacon House up to current regulations and also to add that something special utilising the latest lighting and AV technologies for there new meeting rooms and the main board room.

Due to the A&E Expansion the North Block switch room was in need of a new home. This was relocated to a bespoke GRP enclosure on the roof. We supplied a new 1000A Dual supplied, Generator Backed purpose built panel. Migrating circuits from the old to new, this involved multiple sequenced out of hours shutdowns for all major departments across the live A&E. It took months of planning and preparation, but due to our dedicated team was a great success and a job we can be very proud of!

With the need for a more resilient infrastructure for A&E Majors and Critical Care, the decision was taken to add New UPS/IPS system for essential/medical equipment. This involved upgrading and relocating the Pilot wing MCCB Panel board to make room for the new UPS/IPS equipment which was also installed by us. This involved a weekend shutdown to complete all works for panel relocation and the UPS/IPS install is in process.
